Alpa Patel is a very talented Gujarati folk song singer. Born in 1995, Alpa is from Munjiyasar, Bagasara, Amreli district, Gujarat, India. She is famous among Gujaratis for her magical voice and the power in her voice notes. Alpa has many albums and music videos released on her channel which have always earned great love from people. She sings folk songs, involved in Garba, Lokdaira, and Gujarati Single Alpa’s father died when she was just 1 year old, and thus, to stabilize the family, her mother Madhuben Patel, and brother Mahendra have done work day and night to give the best life to her. Alpa was raised by her maternal uncle. Alpa’s maternal grandfather used to sing in bhajans, and thus, taking inspiration from him, Alpa started practicing her voice too by singing in the colony’s bhajan group held each weekend.

Listening to her voice, her English teacher, Nileshbhai Patel pushed her to have a career in the singing field and promoted her to go further. With the confidence and support of her family members, by the age of 10, that is, in class 5, she started singing to earn money. Alpa started her singing in Shree Khodaldham Temple, located in Rajkot district, Gujarat, India. With her magical voice, she soon gained popularity among all who visited there to worship. She didn’t stop and started giving performances in Surat and with time, earned people’s hearts. Her music is favorite among music and dance lovers during the festive season in Gujarat. Her music is loved by Garba and Dandiya lovers. Along with getting invitations from people to give performances at their events, Alpa is also very active in charity work and has never failed to use her fame as a means of spreading awareness about society’s causes and ways to solve them. Alpa joined youtube in June 2018, and since then, has regular videos being uploaded on there.

Some of Alpa’s hit songs are- “Lai Ja Ne Tari Sangath,” “Maa Machhrali Mogal Madi,” “Mahadev Ni Aarti”, and many more beautiful devotional and traditional songs. She also likes to do song mashups and has many of them released on her channel. She is married to Uday Gajera and the couple together have composed and appeared in the music video of the love song “Sathvaro”. In February 2022, Alpa and her brother Mahendra Patel released a song together, “Ladakvayi Benadi” which made her fans emotional hearing the lyrics and seeing the beautiful music video showcasing both of them. Many of Alpa’s live events are broadcasted on her youtube channel. For Navaratri in October 2023, she performed in Surat with Prashant Makwana for five days (day 5 to day 9. Each day had been broadcasted live on her channel, as people enjoyed listening to her voice and had a beautiful night doing the Garba with loved ones.
