AneriNihalani is a photographer, a development communicator, and an ex-journalist from Gujarat, India. She is a B.Com. graduate. She has completed her master's in Development Communication from Gujarat University. She started her career in 2014 as a news correspondent and photographer at Divya Bhaskar. After working for about a year, she started working as a freelancer behind the scenes in Gujarati movies. She also worked as an assistant director for feature films, TV shows, documentary films, music videos, etc.

In 2020 and 2022, she worked as a communications consultant for several NGOs and CSRs, including Gujarat Mahila Housing Sewa Trust and Action Against Hunger. PhotoKalam is the space where she tells stories through her photographs. She has worked for PhotoKalam for more than 7 years. Her work, Music as Medicine: The Ehsaas Band in Ahmedabad, has been featured on the Google Arts and Cultural Site. She is a self-employed photographer who works with various print media, films, and digital media. Her work, known as Romance in Gujarati Cinema through BTS, shows the perspective of people for romantic and dramatic genres of cinema. Her love for documentation and the camera has led to her huge success.
