Neeta Thakare

Neeta Thakare is a business head from Mumbai, Maharashtra, with a background in commerce. She graduated from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Later, she pursued a postgraduate certificate in Business Management from the XLRI Jamshedpur Business School. Neeta is an experienced media professional with expertise in broadcasting, marketing, event management, and sales. She has worked in various key positions such as sales, managerial, business development, marketing, and business strategy portfolios with numerous prominent media and broadcast business corporations. 

She began her career in 1988 and has worked for companies like Sony Pictures Networks Distribution India, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Malaysia-based Astro Overseas Limited (Astro), FOOD FOOD channel - a joint venture between Mogae Consults and Karthik Gaikwad, among others. Neeta worked at Sony Pictures from 2003 to 2007 for almost 4.5 years. In 2009, she became the head of distribution at News24. In 2014, she joined Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited as Head of Marketing (Distribution), and in 2017, she joined InsiderSport.co as a business head. She was responsible for driving the company's business strategies, marketing, and sales for five months. 

Neeta is also a volunteer teacher for India, a non-profit organization where she teaches English to underprivileged children. In 2018, she worked for ten months as a consultant on cross-media strategy at Cinestaan Digital Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai. After that, she switched to IWMBuzz as a Business Development Consultant for Revenue, where she worked on the Digital Awards and India Web Fest, curating content and supporting it with sponsorship. In 2019, she joined Enterr10 as a head of distribution and later moved to QYOU Media in 2021. Neeta is recognized as a valuable employee, key relationship manager, public speaker, and multitasker.
