Dhaval Rathod is a Gujarati English professor. Born and brought up in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. He studied at the University of Cambridge and pursued English literature at an advanced level the English language and at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences pursued his M. Pharmacy. He is a postgraduate in Science and Arts stream. He was pursuing his Master of Pharmacy when he realized his literary inclinations. He responded to his inner calling by pursuing a Diploma in Creative Writing followed by a Master of Arts in English. He believes that writing is a divine endeavor that blesses writers to discover the depths of their souls. He regularly posts his micro-poems on his Instagram handle.
His articles have appeared in the Rajkot Plus supplement of The Times of India. In addition to this book, he has published a collection of poems, A Season of Shooting Stars. He has also scripted short films for Fikar Not Films and a Gujarati feature film
