Sumaiya Shimu is a Bangladeshi Television Actress. She started working in this industry in 1999 and is still actively working. She grew up in Narail. She earned a Master’s Degree from Jahangirnagar University. She completed her Ph.D. in 2017. She debuted her television career through the renowned drama Ekhane Ator Paoa Jai. Shimu married Nazrul Islam of Relief International, an American-based non-government organization, on August 28, 2015. She worked in the film Bachelor in 2004. Shimu has contributed to this industry by acting in various television shows such as Sonalu Phul, Housefull, Teen Jonaki, Briefcase, Lake Drive Lane, etc.
