Manabendra Adhikary

Manabendra Adhikary is a film producer from Assam. Manabendra was born on 17 January 1963 in Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon. He attended the Abhayapuri Abhayeswari H.S.M.P school and then went to Guwahati Commerce College. He graduated from college in 1983 and moved to Delhi for higher education. He did his M. Com and MBA and started working in Delhi. In 1990, he returned to Guwahati to start M. Adhikary and Associates which was a finance and tax consultancy firm in Uzanbazar.

In 2002, he started his construction company M/S Adarsh Real Estate Pt. Ltd with associates. He started his film career in 2013 by opening his production house Artha Films. The objective of this film house was to act as a storyteller of normal people's stories and bring recognition to the Assamese film industry. The film house has produced two films till now, Othello and Antareen, directed by Hemanta Kumar Das Hemanta Kumar Das is a talented director. He was b >> Read More... and Monjul Barua respectively.
