Nagen Baishya is an Assamese cinematographer or DOP (Director Of Photography), who was born on the 27th of January. His hometown is in Jagiroad, Assam, India. Currently, he is staying in Gauhati, Assam. His brother’s name is Bikash Baishya. He did his schooling at Manaha High school and after passing out, he went to Bhupen Hazarika Regional Government Film and Television Institute (Nizsundarighopa Gauhati, Assam, India). Some of his works are Yeh Dosti, Rode Borixune, Tumi Malala (You are my Malala) {Director of Photography}, III Smoking Barrels (Camera and Electrical Department), Arranged 2, Lovebirds, Gaane Gaane, Hopun, Maya. Another work of his “Bohubritta” was also selected for India Panorama IFFI 2019.
