Mrinmoy Saikia, from Assam, is an uprising and successful Assami Cinematographer known for his commendable work in various series. He is known as Rupak Da among his fan base in Assam. Mrinmoy Saikia did cinematography in blockbusters like, “Swansong” released in 2022, “Wrong Number” in 2021, and “Nimila Onko” in 2020. He has also played a small role in the TV mini-series, “Kritikal Kouple,” released in 2022. Mrinmoy released a famous message-giving series, “Kolangpur,” in 2022.
This had given him great recognition from people not only in Assam but from different parts of India. The story is about gangsters in North East and introduces the viewers to the truth rather than moving around some melodramatic drama. The series earned immense love from people as the language used was just like localities, and the content was straight to the point and gave chills to viewers.
