Plot
Maayan, a dutiful cop, is married to Stella and has a daughter. Due to some differences in their life, they get separated. Maayan is an alcoholic and a chain smoker. He lost his daughter in an accident and couldn’t get back to normal. Soon, his wife Stella faces the same situation and dies. Maayan finds both of their death has some relativity and starts investigating. While digging into the case, he gets a lot of shocking things, and what he did to open the truth to the public forms the rest of the plot.
Star Performance
RK Suresh lived in the role. He is fantastic as Maayan and impressed the audience. His minimum expression for the role is neat. Poorna is superb in the given role. She has performed as a middle-aged lady and has delivered a natural performance. The rest of the stars are good in their roles.
Analysis
Most of the time, the remakes don’t get the right essence of the original. Visithiran is an exceptional case, and it has done justice to the original. Suresh and Poorna have danced to the tunes of the script, and it is the script that really plays the central part. The cinematography and BGM are perfect and match the thriller genre. The actors and the director should be appreciated for giving a decent entertainer.
