Anant Mane is an Indian director who worked for the Marathi film industry. He is a great director who worked in more than 60 movies in Marathi cinemas. Anant was born on 22nd September 1915 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. During the 1960s to 1980s, he worked with music director Vasant Pawar and gave a lot of hit movies. Anant’s 1961 film Manini won the President’s Silver Medal for Best Regional Film of the Year.
Some of the popular movies in which he worked are Aai Ude Ga Ambabai, Asla Navra Nakoga Bai, Don Baika Phajeeti Aika, Gaav Tase Changle Pun Veshila Tangale, Gao Tasa Changla Pan Veshila Tangla, Totaya Aamdaar, and many others.
