The show’s storyline revolves around Shahida, an independent woman. Shahida is a doctor, running her clinic. She lives with her mother, Begum Nasir, and is highly close to her. Begum Nasir plans to marry Shahida to someone wealthy, but Shahida refuses due to her past experiences. In the past, Shahida's parents have divorced due to compatibility issues and after that Shahida chose to live with her mother.

Later in the story, a close friend of Shahida, tries to assure Shahida about her situation. Things take a turn when her father comes to meet Shahida, much to Begum Nisar's disappointment, and Nisar tells Shahida that he will be moving to California. Later in the story, Shahida's cousin, Yousaf, returns from abroad and wishes to marry Shahida. He is heartbroken when she refuses him because he once left her before. Shahida’s life is turned upside down with the entrance of Gullu. Once, a patient who couldn’t speak and walk properly, after his parents' death, became fine under Shahida’s hard work. He begins to Gullu begins to speak and walk properly due to Shahida's care, and soon Gullu confesses his love to Shahida. What happens next? The storyline deals with that.
