Some people need no introduction because their work is enough to define them. One such personality is Tauqeer Nasir, a 63 years old, the well-known Pakistani veteran actor. He has been serving his nation since 1978. Tauqeer Nasir blessed Pakistan by marking his presence on 14 September 1957 near Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab. He pursued Masters's in Mass Communications from the University of Punjab. Being a pursuer of Mass Communication, Tauqeer did not confine himself to journalism only; in fact, entered in acting, presenting, and what not. He later became DG of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts for the tenure of 2 years. Tauqeer left a solid impression of his acting in serious roles, which led him to be awarded with Pride of Performance award by President of Pakistan, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz award, and his name was nominated for Best Actor Drama Series in the 1st Indus Drama Awards 2005 for Maa Aur Mamta.

Tauqeer’s spectacular performances include his work in Rahain, Panah, Aik Haqeeqat Aik Afsana, Samundar, Dehleez, Dard Aur Daman, and Parwaz. Initially, acting was a mere hobby for him; but later, it became the reason behind his success. Tauqeer is one of the fittest actors in the Pakistan Film industry, that is why, with every passing day, he looks younger. Anybody can be easily deceived by his personality, if he/she is unaware of his real age. Tauqeer is indeed a pride of Pakistan. We wish him good health and blessed future.
