Primarily dealing with the genre of drama and over-the-top emotions, the story highlights the perils of a patriarchal society and the suffering of women that comes along with it. In the show, the audience was given an insight into the devastating and heart-wrenching tale of a young girl named Haya.

The Panchayat was shown making a cruel decision, whereby Haya was given away as a compensation for a feud between landlords. She is almost treated like a commodity and cant make her own decisions. She was forced to marry a man without her consent, one who represents everything wrong in the male-dominated world and constantly ill treats her, and lies to her. Her life is filled with misery and suffering through no fault of her own and she has little to no way out. Nevertheless, her struggles resonate with the audience and keep them engaged. The title of the show gives an idea of what to expect from the story, and this show serves as an enjoyable family watch.
