Aangan is a Pakistani drama that aired on Hum TV on 20th December 2018 and went off air on 27th June 2019.

Khameera Illahi is a strict matriarch who has five children: 3 sons and 2 daughters. Khameera’s husband, Muzaffar, doesn’t care for his family. He brings home his son, who was born to another woman. Khameera accepts him, but the rest of her family doesn’t accept him. Salma, Khameera’s daughter, falls for Subhan, from a humble family. As none accept their relationship, she elopes with him. They get married, and she becomes a mother to Safder and Najma. But, she dies due to TB. Subhan leaves his kids and moves away. Soon, Muzaffar passes away. Salma’s elder brother, Mazhar, takes care of her kids. However, his wife opposes this, and hence he sends Najma to a boarding school. Due to his job, Mazhar moves to another city with his family. Years passed, and they’ve grown up well. Now, Safder has feelings for Tehmina, Mazhar’s daughter. Aaliya is Tehmina’s sister. Both the sisters befriends Kusum. When Safder and Tehmina’s relationship comes out, Tehmina’s mother disapproves of it, and fixes her wedding to Jameel. As Tehmina couldn’t live without Safder, and Safder is not bold enough to stand for his love, she commits suicide. Soon, Mazhar gets arrested for attacking a British officer. So, Aaliya moves back to their granny’s place with her mother. The rest of the story follows how they were welcomed and who married Aaliya.
