Uzma Hassan is one of the famous Pakistani actresses who appears in Urdu Films and serials. She was born in 1979 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. She has been active since 2001 in the acting field. She completed her education in Lahore. She has studied for a Master's in teaching.

Uzma belongs to a Feudal and strict family, which means no one from her family is allowed to expose herself. But she broke the rules of her family for career. Her father also helped her in her career. Sadly, her father and mother are not alive. She has one brother.

She started her career as a model in the Pakistani Fashion industry. She did photoshoots for several top fashion brands. Uzma got a lot of attention because of her bold and attractive look. She won millions of hearts with her powerful and flawless performance.

She has appeared in many Pakistani serials like Aao Kahani Buntay Hain (2011), Kami Reh Gaee (2013), Ghundi (2013), Bay Emaan Mohabbat (2014), Mohabbat Aag Si (2015), Main Kamli (2016), Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain 2 (2016), Dil Lagi Mannat (2016), Sang-e-MarMar (2016), Aangan (2017), Ustani Jee(2018), Kabhi Band Kabhi Baja (2018), Prem Gali (2020), Pehli Si Mohabbat (2021), Ishq e Laa (2021), and many more. One of her serials, Ullu Baraye Farokht Nhi (2014), gave her a lot of fame.

She made her silver screen debut with a romantic drama film, Arth- The Destination (2018), in which she played a lead role with Shan Shahid.  She earned a great fan following from this movie. By performing in this movie, she was nominated at the Lux Style Awards for the Best Actress Award. After this, she also appeared in Mr. And Mrs. Shameem's (2019) movie. Not only in Pakistan, she is also famous in other countries like India.
