Born on 26th February, 1984, Veena Malik’s real name is Zahida Malik. She was born in Pakistan. Later, she went ahead to turn into a well known Pakistani actress and model. In the year 2000, she marked her debut with the film Tere Pyar Mein. She has played a pivotal role in a number of woman centric films like Ishq Be Parwah, Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa.

She has done her BA in psychology, sociology and Persian. Few of the people actually know that she is a social worker too. She has worked in various social awareness programs, the most notably being her association with WHO for their polio awareness campaign. As a representative and ambassador head of WHO, she has travelled across numerous villages, creating awareness about proper family planning and child health.

She is very much known for her kind hearted nature. She has adopted two sons, namely, Zafar and Zain, who were the sufferers of the devastating 2005 earthquake. Adjacent to movies, she is very much seen in the television industry. She turned up for the Pakistani reality show Miss Duniya. She then turned her way to Indian television. She was the contestant of the 4th edition of the controversial reality show Big Boss. Here her link up with Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel was much talked about. She was evicted from the house just before the finals. She then attempted her fortunes in Bollywood movies, her first being with her Big Boss partner Ashmit Patel. Recently she showed up in a horror movie named Mumbai 125km.
