Khadija Mastoor (1927 to 1982) was a Pakistani writer and novelist who worked in Urdu literature. Her novel, Aangan, is considered a masterpiece of her writeups. The same novel was highly appreciated and converted into a television drama series. She had younger siblings named Hajra Masroor (sister) and Khalid Ahmad (brother). Her sister, Hajra, was also a short story writer. Her brother, Khalid, was a playwright, newspaper columnist and poet.
Khadija Mastoor began writing stories in 1942 and wrote the stories, novels and many other papers till her death. She wrote many stories, out of which five stories and two novels have been published. She wrote a lot about political, moral and social values. The couple [Malik Zaheer-ud-Deen Babar Awan and Khadija Mastoor] had two children, Kiran Fayyaz and Malik Pervez Alam Awan. She was survived by her husband, her younger siblings and her children.
