Aman is a Nawab, who is controlled by a Jinn, while Roshni is a Tawaif with the soul of a holy messenger. Parveen, Aman's mother, is sick and she wants Aman weds an Ayaana, a lady with the soul of a blessed messenger. Salma, Roshni’s mother, seems to be impatient, driving Roshni to wed Aman for cash. Aman misunderstands Roshni to be a gold digger. He begins disliking her and gives her a check in return for marrying him. Aman and Roshni get married. Aman's sibling, Kabir Junaid Khan, attempts to kill Aman. However, Roshni saves Aman. Aman understands his affections for Roshni and is left devastated. Kabir resurrects Roshni yet holds her under his influence. Parveen murders Kabir. Aliya, Aman's previous lover, comes back with an infant and attempts to separate Aman and Roshni. The child is claimed to be Kabir's, and Aliya is claimed to be a Haiwana.

Parveen attempts to kill the infant, yet Aman saves the youngster. After one year, Roshni chooses to open a bread shop by taking credit. Aman gets the news about Parveen's kidney problem. He crushes Roshni's bread kitchen as he thinks that Roshni is the reason for Parveen's condition. Roshni is crushed. Aman provides an employment opportunity and keeps her as his secretary. Now, Roshni gets pregnant. To save Parveen, Roshni subtly gives her kidney. Kabir comes back with deadlier forces. He holds hands with Laila, the red moon princess who attempts to attack Roshni and Aman's twins. Laila curses Roshni that she will kick the bucket before the following full moon. Aman prevails with regards to sparing Roshni however passes on. Jinn asks Roshni's originally conceived kid to spare Aman. Roshni concurs, and the Jinn takes Aman back to life.
