Happy Days is the second name adopted by it; the first title is Love and the Television Set describing more intensely the content of the plot. The show is a personified reflection, in the form of characters, of the superficial lives of Americans. It also deals with the racial problems of that time, in episode 14 “The Best Man”, Howard declares that his army friend, who is a black, is to have his home for his wedding venue is criticised at large and has to deal with prejudice over the race for his friend and himself. Happy Days works as an insight into the 20th century sophisticated, urbanised, malfunctioned but struggling, the family-oriented society of Americans.
