Plot

Chellappa is a senior lawyer and an activist. He supported Nandini in her case against her abusive husband. Chellappa is close to Sakkarai, the Sub-Inspector. To their shock, Chellappa is murdered. Muthu is found hiding in that crime scene. Seven women confess this murder and now instead of finding the murderer, the investigation travels to find the connection between the seven women who confessed. Who is the real murderer? The rest of the series follows the secrets behind the women and why they are involved in this case.

Star Performance

Kathir and Aishwarya excelled impressively in their roles. Saravanan’s performance supports the story in being navigated perfectly. Gouri’s role helps her perform well with a variety of expressions. Lal’s performance is neat. Chandran and Manjima have given decent performances in their cameo roles.

Analysis

The first four episodes showcase the characters in the story and are a bit slow. The story takes the right pace after the character establishments. The plot, which started at one point, started moving in a different direction, making the audience question who’s the criminal behind all these crimes. The abductions and trafficking make us suspect many characters who are on the inquiry list. Though the main characters are finely designed, some of them don’t have depth, including that of Ashwini and Chandini. Though they have performed well, their roles didn’t project their performances. The music and the visuals are good, and the editing is decent.

Verdict

Despite a few negatives, the series has impressive performances and a finely written screenplay. Well-executed by Bramma G and Sarjun KM, the series is watchable once!
