SirippuMazhai (“Showers of Laughter” in English) as the name describes,is an Indian comedy TV show targeting the Tamil speaking population of the country.The show airs on Sirippoli TV which is famous for its comic genre and,a sister channel of Kalaignar TV. The show went on-air in 2010 and is currently broadcasting in the slot of 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm afternoon on all the days of the week. The show headline some of Kollywood’s most memorable and humorous videos and demonstrates the lives and comic acts of the actors.

It documents the entertaining nature of the character and the childhood sweetness in the Kollywood‘s movies. The show revolves around the comic centre of the Kollywood’s films and selectively pick some of the comical scenes from famous Tamil films. The video clips usually are 10 – 10 minutes long and the show thus broadcast around four to five such comic clips in one episode after cutting down the time allotted to advertisements and promotions.

The connection between the clips which they make to get a hilarious version is a reason for the show to cover up such a long journey without any major problem and still increasing its fan circle and love for their work in the people hearts.
