Sahar Neram is a Tamil language TV show that airs on the channel Captain TV during the Ramzan season. A Muslim scholar, an expert in Quran, hosts the show. Quran is a holy book, a religious text of Islam, believed to be a revelation from God. Almost every Muslim who follows Islamic traditions reads the Quran, and it is imperative that they understand the meaning of every word. The show featured the religious scholar reading the verses of the Quran, a few per episode.
He reads them out and then explains the meaning of it. A lot of religious zealots refuse to believe anything that was preached to them by their elders, even if it not the principle of humanity as explain in the book. This show aims to change the hearts and minds of such people and teach them the true meaning of what they believe is said by the god, the true meaning of being a Muslim.
