Naagini 4 is the Tamil dubbed version of the popular Indian show in the Hindi language. The show falls under the very popular and evergreen genre of supernatural thriller which is a type of show in which characters have magical powers. Naagini is a show about a bunch of women serpents who have been blessed with magical powers and super strength by their god. The main source of their power is a shiny stone called in the show as ‘naagmani’. This news reaches many other supernatural creatures who also have powers but they have gone greedy and want all the powers for themselves. The show tracks the battle between good and evil, between naagins and other creatures.
The fourth season of the show follows a young Naagin princess called Manyata. She falls for a man called Keshav. Keshav is a normal human being and therefore has no power. They both decide to go ahead and get married. On the day of their marriage, Manyata’s parents arrive at her wedding and are dead against the marriage. Manyata’s mother warns her that if she marries a normal human, she will lose all her powers for another twenty-five years. But Manyata is ready to sacrifice all that she has for her love. She goes against her parents and finally marries Keshav. They have a daughter a few months later but she can’t become a naagin until she has turned twenty-five.
The members of the Parekh family have captured the family of Keshav. Vrushali is desperate to know the secret behind Laal Tekri Temple. When they fail to extract anything, they kill Keshav and his whole family. Luckily Manyata escapes with her daughter. She raises her daughter to exact revenge on the Parekh family. The show was a huge hit in Tamil because of its entertainment value and thrills. The show is well known for its characters and VFX. The show airs on the popular Tamil channel, Colors Tamil.
