Guhan was produced by Min bimbangal, of K.Balachander’s Kavithalaya group. The cast included Dr.Sharmila, Sathish, Chetthan, Ravi Raghavender,Yuva sri, ARS, RaviRahul, Krishna, Sudhakar, Rajmohan, Senthil, Anita Mathews, Shanthi, Shilpa, Devipriya and others. The story, screenplay and dialogues were by Devibala and the direction was done by Sundar.K.Vijayan. Samudrakani was assistant director. The title was sung by Unnikrishnan, for the lyrics penned by Dr.Kirudhaya.

Sundar.K.Vijayan brought out a beautiful family drama through 'Guhan'. Sandhya and Guhan were the gaurdians of Sundari. Guhan was an exceutive producer for an advertisement agency.Preparations for Sundari's marriage arised financial problems for Guhan. Guhan when got chance to meet his old friend Yogesh, he discussed about his new tele serial project. At one point of time, complications arise between Yogesh and his wife Narmada as he denied his wife, the lead role in the new project while on the other hand Sandhya and her husband Guhan are tensed with raising funds for marriage. The rest of the story was about the way they solve their own issues and how they overcome the hurdles. The story was knitted very beautifully by Devibala, as he does in all his stories. The serial was watched by many viewers with excitement , when it was telecasted.
