1. Sreejita De
Sreejita De is an actress and model, hailing from West Bengal, who is renowned for her work in TV serials. Besides that, she has also acted in Bollywood films. She was born on July 19, 1989, in Haldia, West Bengal. She is a graduate in Mass Media from Ruia College. Though she wanted to be a journalist, on her friend’s advice who was working in Balaji Telefilms, she gave acting a shot and got selected for the role of Gargi Bajaj in Kasauti Zindagi Ki, thus making a debut in the TV serial industry in 2007. In the year 2008 she made her Bollywood debut with the role of Parvati in the movie Tashan. Her portrayal of Mukta Rathore in the TV series Uttaran helped her gain fame and footing in the industry, after which she played the role of Sonia in the movie Love Ka The End. Being a Bengali she has faced problems in speaking Hindi at the starting of her career but she was quick to overcome this lingual challenge and established herself firmly. Currently De can be seen as the lead character in serials like Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah where she plays the role of Annu and in the serial Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi where she plays the role of Shreya.
