Bobby Kumar

Bobby Kumar, a public figure, director, and actor, was born as Vijender Kumar on 7 October 1976. Bobby grew up in Jind, Haryana with his parents, Darya Singh and Shanti Devi, and five elder siblings. He completed his senior secondary education at Bal Aashram government school in Jind. He moved to Mumbai to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor and started as a background dancer in the movie Shabnam Mausi(2005). He has appeared in many Hindi movies, and television shows ever since. He is known for his role as Vimla in Agneepath(2012). This film, based on the real-life struggle of a hijra(eunuch), had impressed the mass audience and was awarded by many nationwide organizations, earned more than 13 honors in a Film Festival, and was honored by NGO Jan Chetna Mahila Sanstha. His fans appreciated him for representing the Transgender Society. Apart from appearing in Hindi films, he has also acted in Haryanvi, Bhojpuri, South Indian, and Odia cinema.
