The 80s were certainly a dark period for Bollywood industries but that doesn’t mean nothing good came out of it. “Amloo” was a serial in the late 19th century which aired on Doordarshan and attracted the attention of a lot of 80's kids. The show was meant for children and revolved around a small girl Amloo portrayed by a very small Shalini and a robot named Banjo.
The show focused on their friendship and many adventures they had together for the entertainment of the kids, providing several life lessons along the road. The show remains a nostalgic favorite up until this day for many people belonging to that era.
