Savita, Daksha, and Gayatri are the daughters-in-law of Amba. These three women control their family and trouble their mother-in-law. Savita’s son, Mihir, rejects his mother’s choice to marry rich Payal and marries Tulasi, a priest’s daughter. In an accident, Mihir was assumed dead. But he lost his memory. When she regains his memory, his caretaker stages a pregnancy drama. Tulasi becomes pregnant with Mihir’s second child, Shobha. She gives her son Gautam to her childless brother-in-law, Kiran, who takes him abroad. Mihir and Tulasi give birth to Harsh, their second son. After 20 years, Gautam returns to India and knows about his birth parents. What happened next is shown in the rest of the series.
