Chahul is a horror serial aired on Colors Marathi. The plot revolves around unrequited love that comes in the form of spirit. Nirmala and Sarjerao are childhood friends and Nirmala always harbored romantic feelings for Sarjerao. After they grow up, Nirmala is shocked to know that Sarjerao never loved her and always saw her as a friend. He plans to marry a foreign girl named Jenny. Nirmala dies of heartbreak but returns as a spirit for vengeance and torments Jenny. The impact of Nirmala’s love-driven actions on the life of Sarjerao and Jenny forms the story.
