Ruchikoottu is a Malayalam language TV show that aired on the channel Amrita TV. The show was launched during the lockdown of 2020. The crew announced the launch of the show on television and on their Facebook page. The show gave home makers an opportunity to do something during the lockdown. Women can create their own recipes, and they will be featured on the show. We can all agree that the lockdown has made almost everyone good cooks. Everyone tried to beat the boredom by doing something new and exciting. The show gave one such opportunity for all women.
It gave them something to do and also got something out of it. The crew instructed the viewers to take clear videos of the recipes and send it on Whats App to the number displayed on television and Facebook. The chefs start their videos by mentioning the dish they have planned to prepare and move on to show the ingredients and the amount of them required. They then shoot a detailed video of the recipe and the outcome. The show promised the participants exciting gifts for their participation and also special gifts for those whose items were exceptional.
