Manam Pole Mangalyam is a conventional serial that breaks the social stereotypes of society and challenges them. It is a Malayalam serial that is an official remake of a Marathi serial ‘Aggabai Sassubai. It aired on 28th December 2020 on Zee Keralam. The plot involves how a daughter-in-law decides to marry her mother-in-law, breaking the societal pressure and stereotypes. The story opens with a mother, ‘Meera,’ who is a widow. She lives with his son, Nikhil, and father-in-law. She takes care of the family, faces all the problems in life, and resolves it with peace. She is an independent woman who is very good at cooking. Soon his son, Nikhil, gets married to Nila.
Meera focuses on the entire family, but she does not care about herself. This thing gets noticed by Nila, her daughter-in-law, who decides to bring true love to her. After the marriage of Nikhil and Nila, they went to a restaurant to celebrate owned by Aravind Raj. Aravind Raj is a chef; he notices Meera and falls in love with her. How journey begins, and will Meera ever be able to love Aravind? This forms the storyline.
