My Roommate Is a Gumiho is a South Korean TV series aired on TVN from 26^th May 2021 to 15^th July 2021. The 16-episode series was telecast on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:40 pm. Studio Dragon and iQIYI created the series. Baek Sun-Woo and Choi Bo-Rim wrote the series, and Nam Sung-Woo and Park Joon Hwa directed it. Moon Sang-Nam composed the music. Park Joon-Seo and Han Seok-won produced the series under the Drama House, Contents Zium, and JTBC Studios banners. The series is based on a webtoon. Gumiho is a nine-tailed fox, which is seen in Korean folktales. This series is about the fox that lives for decades to become a human. Shin Woo Yeo is a 999-year-old fox. Although he is nearing his 1000, he looks young and appears like a human. He collected the human energy in beads and kept it in his mouth. In a situation, the bead comes out of his mouth and a college student, Lee Dam, accidentally swallows it. Later, Shin explains the situation to her, and if he couldn’t get the bead, he couldn’t become the human, and the bead will break into pieces and cause death to the person who swallowed it. So, Shin and Lee stay in a house to find out the solution.

Jang Ki-Yong plays the role of Shin Woo-yeo, the 999-year-old Gumiho. Lee Hye-Ri plays Lee Dam, a college student who accidentally swallows the bead of Gumiho. Bae In-hyuk, Kang Han-na, Kim Do-wan, Park Kyung-hye, Choi Woo-sung, Kim Do-yeon, Kim Kang-min, Bang Eun-jung, Jung So-min, Kim Eung-soo, Han Ji-eun, Go Kyung-pyo, Jang Sung-kyu, Oh Hyun-kyung, Kang Mi-na, Son Seong-yoon, Lee Jun-hyuk, and Oh Jung-se are in the supporting roles.
