The story starts with a typical family. Sohail and Shamsha have a son, Rehan, and a daughter, Faiza. Faiza has become of marriageable age but is not getting any prospects. Faiza is a spoiled and selfish lady. Rehan is a decent and sweet man. Sohail finally decides to fix Faiza’s marriage with Ahmer, her paternal cousin. Faiza likes Ahmer so she is happy with this decision. Ahmer is Sohail’s brother’s son. Sohail’s brother passed away a long time ago. His wife Rabia single-handedly brought up her children. She has a daughter, Hera.

Sohail fixes Rehan’s marriage with Hera. Both Rehan and Hera are happy. Rehan is head over heels for Hera. Ahmer already has a girlfriend, Sanam, who he loves a lot. He is not happy with his marriage as he had planned to marry Sanam. But Ahmer decides to accept marriage with Faiza as he does not want Hera’s marriage to break. Sanam is heartbroken by this betrayal. Shamza and Faiza do not like Hera and her family because they are poor. They do not want her to marry Rehan. They want him to marry Sweety, his maternal cousin. But Rehan is smitten by Hera and wants to marry her. Shamza and Faiza plan that after Faiza’s marriage, they will make Rehan marry Sweety. Ahmer and Faiza marry, but Sanam and Ahmer still love each other.

Shamza and Faiza create misunderstandings between Hera and Rehan. But later Rehan overhears their plan and reunites with Hera. Hera and Rehan marry each other. But Faiza and Ahmer are unhappy. Faiza continues to be a brat and annoys Ahmer with her demands. Ahmer missed Sanam as she was understanding. He marries her privately. They keep this marriage a secret from others.
