Soundarya Jayamala is an Indian film actress. She is the daughter of Kannada film actress Jayamala and cinematographer H M Ramachandra. Her mother was the treasurer of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. She entered the silver screen and did her debut film “Godfather” for which she won the Suvarna Film Award for the Best Debut actress category.

Umashree is an actress and politician. She is a known face in the comic genre of roles. Having done over four hundred movies, this fifty seven year old actress joined politics in the year 2013. She became the Member of Legislative Assembly in Karnataka. 

Vani Harikrishna is Kannada playback singer, Vani won few awards from South Indian Film Industry for her works. Vani born in Bangalore. Harikrishna narrated several songs and had sung them. Vani composed songs before starting her career as a singer. Vani received a state reward from Kannada for singing the song Madhuvana Karedare from the cinema Inthi Nina Preethiya. Vani created a fame as screenplay director through the movie Loosegalu released in the year 2013. Vani started her career as a singer and composer in the year 2008 and active till now by releasing her albums in songs or cinemas. Vani belongs to a family of musicians. Harikrishna grandfather was a famous singer in Kannada Industry and even known as a composer.

Pooja Gandhi is a famous actress in the Kannada film industry, and she was born in Ludhiana, Punjab, on 7th October, 1983. She is also popularly known as Sanjana Gandhi. She is a model and recently emerged in politics. She has undoubtedly a huge fan following, right from the time when she got into acting in movies. She is active in the Hindi film industry from the year 2003 until present, and she has two sisters namely Radhika Gandhi, a Bollywood actress, and Suhani Gandhi, a good Tennis player.

Priyamani is a talented actress of the Southern film industry. She received the prestigious National Award for her role in the Tamil film Paruthiveeran. Before entering into the film industry, Priyamani was doing modeling.

Since 2013, he has also been working on becoming a writer and film director. Allegedly, he has penned a story similar to the Amitabh Bachchan starring Bollywood hit Paa. The film will be called Bul Bul Mathadkilva. He has won many awards and accreditations for his work like the Suvarna Film Awards, Filmfare Awards, South Indian International Movie Awards, Mirchi Music Awards South, etc. He has won the Filmfare and Mirchi Music three times each respectively.

Vijay Prakash is an Indian playback singer and film composer. He was born in Mysore and moved to Mumbai in 1996. He worked in so many Hindi films including Blue, Yuvraaj, Swades, Kaal, Lakshya, Matrubhoomi, Tere Naam, Cheeni Kum, Raavan, and Force.

He is a very famous Indian actor. Tabla Nani is working in both Indian theater and Kannada film industry. He got his first break in the year 2006 for a Kannada movie Mata. Though he was not the lead actor in the movie he played a great role as the supporting actor. The movie released in the year 2009 became the most critical point in the career of Tabla Nani, named Eddelu Manjunatha. His role and acting in this film brought him fame, popularity, and public appraisal. His career is short as he has started performing in the year 2006 only. Rakesh Adiga  was born on born 7 July in 1986; he is a film actor, who works mainly in the Kannada film industry. Rakesh is well known in the business circles since he belongs to the family of Adigas who have a chain of hotels and restaurants across Karnataka. He was introduced to the industry through the film ‘Jhoshh’. Rakesh got his first break in 2009 in his debut film ‘Jhossh’. The film ‘Jhossh’ went on to become one of the top grosser of that year and earned him recognition.

Sadhu Kokila is a Kannada actor who primarily works on comedy roles. He is also a director and music composer. Rakta Kanneeru, Om and Shhh are some of the movies that he directed and also acted. The Vijay starrer Devru was also directed by him.
Born on 24th March, 1966, Sadhu Kokila, also known as Kokila Sadhu, hails from a family of musically inclined people. His father was a violinist in a music group of Karnataka Police Department. His sister and mother are singers. Layendra, Kokila’s brother, is also an actor. Kokila pursued his schooling at St. Joseph’s Indian High School in Bangalore. Kannada star Upendra provided him with the name Sadhu Kokila. 
Kokila kickstarted his career in the film industry as a musician and eventually he was referred to Kasturi Shankar, another musician. He has the reputation of being one of the swiftest keyboard players in India. Kokila has helmed direction for 12 Kannada flicks, and 6 of them were remakes. His directorial venture Anarkali was dropped midway. 
Kokila expresses that audiences and the media question whether his films are a remake or original. He had made up his mind not to endeavor in remakes. He feels that composing music requires a lot of creativity. As far as his comedy stint is concerned, he is loved by the audience. And about acting he feels that it is exciting. Sadhu Kokila has received awards for music direction twice. 
As far as remakes are concerned Kokila is of the view that there are creative limitations. But originals are enjoyable both in the sense of creativity and visualization. Sadhu Kokila along with Doddanna make a good pair for situation comedies. Kokila is compared with Johnny Lever of Bollwyood,for his comedy skills. 
On his personal front, Kokila is wedded to Saleena. They are blessed with two sons. 

Vijaya Prasad began his career as a small screen television artist and writer with the Kannada sitcom, ‘Silli Lalli’. After having had enough experience as a television script writer with sitcoms like ‘Maja with Sruja’ and ‘Comedy Circle’, which calls for more effort than a film, he then began to script his directorial debut ‘Sidlingu’ for which he won the Filmfare Award - Best Director in the year 2012. After which, he scripted for the film ‘Neer Dose’.

AP Arjun is a multi-talented and highly skilled personality from the Kannada cinema. He is credited to have all the skills that are required to bring the much-needed improvement and revolution in the Kannada film industry. He was born in the year 1972 on 8th of August and is 42 years old. His birthplace is in a town in Karnataka named Mandya.

Vijay aka Duniya Vijay is an actor of Kannada cinema. This actor has acted in many films, and he was practically unrecognizable from the gritty characters that he played which were so meaningless. Later on, he landed up receiving some significant character and came to be recognized. His first film in which he appeared and got noticed was a film ‘Duniya’ in 2007. He had a struggling life in Sandalwood and stated to accept small roles till he was offered to play a good character by director Soori in 2007. This actor only did clean comedy film, and he refused to be a part of vulgar comedy movies. He had the habits of cutting down the vulgar dialogues even during dubbing as he is of the opinion that vulgarity never pays in the end. He became an actor by accident. His brother was a struggling actor then.

Darshan also known as Darshan Thoogudeep is an actor from South India well known for his roles mainly in Kannada movies. He is known to be one of the most famous and credible film stars in the Kannada cinema industry.

Puneeth was born on 17th March 1975 in Madras, Tamilnadu. He entered the industry when he was six months old. Although he hails from Madras, he was brought up in Bengalaru. He left his studies in order to work in the cinema but later achieved a diploma in computer science privately. He has a family background where all his brothers, as well as his father, are involved in the same industry. As a child artist, Puneeth worked in movies like ‘Geetha and Bhagyavantha’. He was applauded for his performance as a child and received national film award for best child artist.

Dhruva Sarja is the popular Kannada actor who was born in the year 1988 in Bangalore. He is the nephew of the popular Tamil actor Action King Arjun Sarja. Dhruva Sarja made his debut in the Kannada films through the film Addhuri in the year 2012. He got the Best Debutant Award for that film from Udaya and SIIMA. His performance in this film got him lots of appreciation and lots of fans too. His next film was Bahaddur. It was also a commercial hit film, though it had both positive and negative reviews. Dhruva Sarja is very much choosy. He has got lots of opportunities from various production companies, but he hears the story well and then commits in the best film that suits him. His next film is Bharjari. This will be the romantic film directed by Chethan Kumar. This film has Rachitha Ram in the lead role with Dhruva Sarja. Ravi Sankar and Srinivas Murthy are also in the main cast of this film. The film is under production and expected to release by December 2015. Dhruva Sarja’s brother is also a popular Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja. Dhruva Sarja is like his uncle Arjun, who transforms his body for the character which he performs.
