Plot

Prince Aviraaj is not interested in taking on the responsibilities, and his younger brother Digvijay is dreaming of becoming a chef. Princess Divyaranjani is a confused soul. Aviraaj crosses paths with a self-made entrepreneur, Sophia. Will their relationship get into a smoother future?

Star Performance

Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter’s performances are laudable. Yet, their chemistry didn’t work. Ishaan is good in a few emotional scenes. Sakshi Tanwar played the role of the Queen and delivered a good performance. Zeenat Aman’s new role and performance is energetic.

Analysis

The story is okay, but the narrative looks disjointed. After a few scenes, the story becomes predictable. The royal family’s internal conflicts are not well-written. Prince Digvijay’s commoner ideology is predictable. Those scenes of why he wishes to become a chef are not strongly written. The same goes for the idea behind Rani Padmaja. Most of the episodes deal with Sophia and Aviraaj’s relationship, which doesn’t meet our expectations too. The visuals are excellent, and the BGM is good.

Verdict

The Royals appear to be royal by its look but not by the narration. If you don’t have any series to watch this week, you can try this!
