Plot

Manohar Moorthy is a developer living in a posh gated community in Bangalore. He is married to Sushma, and they have two kids: a daughter, Nisha, and a son, Shiv. Sushma is the chairperson of the apartment in which they live. Nisha is a social media influencer and an aspiring actor. Shiv assumes a fake name and discusses interesting topics over internet. All these four faced some issues when they were stuck in their house during the COVID-19 pandemic. When the father finds it hard to work from home, the mother always wants her family to stay together. How did they manage to pass their time during the lockdown? The rest of the story follows their personal issues and how they come out.

Analysis

The lockdown subject is not new in the past four years. Since 2020, there have been many series and short films released with various messages. Many subjects were funny, and some were serious. This one speaks about the individual issues of family members. The writing is lazy, and the dialogues are not impressive too. The characters are also not relatable. The makers touch on all the topics, including social media culture, the mental pressure due to relationship issues, and layoffs due to the pandemic. Though these topics are touched on, none of them touch the audience. The subplots are mere exaggerations rather than meaningful additions to the plot.

Verdict

The web series wanted to explore an Indian family and the different mind-sets of each person in the family. However, it failed to impress.
