Plot

Shankar Baruah alias Bagha is a Kolkata-based don. He is close to the ruling party in the state. So, the opposition party raises its voice against the ruling party. To clear its name, the ruling party appoints Saptarshi Sinha, a clean record Police officer, to arrest Bagha by some raids. Usually, Bagha gets raid information through Barun Roy, one of the key people of the ruling party. But Bagha's people, Sagor Talukdar and RanjitThakur killed the senior cop. A senior Police officer’s murder brings shame to the ruling party. What happens next?

Star Performance

Jeet delivers a commendable performance. Ritwik Bhowmik and Aadil Zafar Khan delivered their performances excellently. Akanksha Singh did was required. Saswata Chatterjee, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Shruti are good.

Analysis

The narrative is compelling, and the deep-rooted connection between crime and politics are shown well. Despite the interesting plot, the series lacks its pace. The running time is lengthy. The last couple of episodes are slow and predictable. There are too many characters added. Jeet’s role is defined well. Some characters lack depth and some characters are used limitedly. The usage of cuss words is one of the disadvantages. The family audience will never like to hear such words. If the screenplay had been a bit gripping, the series would’ve been elevated to the next level. The visuals and BGM are good. Praveen Kathikuloth’s editing should’ve been better.
