Plot

In this web series, two characters Maddy and Aneri, who were once childhood friends, keep meeting each other. Maddy, a singer, has to share a home with Aneri, whose hobby is baking and she also runs her father’s cafe. Maddy moves to Goa as he has to perform there for a month. The situation in their home gets worse and even more chaotic when Mint, Maddy’s manager, and Jigar, a diehard fan of Maddy, also move into the home. This web series mainly focuses on the romantic interactions between Maddy and Aneri.

Mohsin Khan’s performance was phenomenal.

Analysis

The story itself can come across as bizarre and far-fetched as two people, Maddy and Ameri, are living in the same home without the latter’s knowledge. On top of that, main characters are put in unrealistic situations and get through these crazy situations without any consequences. Apart from that, Aneri and Maddy have good chemistry. The fights in the series are intense. The dialogues are a dull and familiar, but the romance of this series makes up for all that dullness. Sometimes, the lead actors’ performances are a bit overdone and seem overdramatic. Jigar’s character is supposed to be the comic relief in this series that is overflowing with romance, his character is hilarious. It does the job most times, but he is at times, a bit annoying and overbearing.

What’s There?

• The two lead characters have a good chemistry between them.
• The fight scenes are enjoyable to watch.
• The romance in the web series is good.
• Jigar’s character is hilarious at times.

What’s Not There?

• The story has parts that are too far-fetched and unrealistic.
• The dialogues are dull and common.
• Jigar’s character seems obnoxious at times as his character’s comic aspect is sometimes overdone and, hence overbearing.

Verdict

This web series has a good balance of romance and comedy. A blend that many youngsters enjoy watching. It is not recommended for people who typically do not want romantic themes.
