Hindi Tv Show MTV Luv Reel 2

MTV Luv Reel - take 2 is a Hindi language TV show that aired on MTV, India’s number 1 youth channel, from 14 October 2011. The show aired for three weeks on Fridays at 7 pm for one and a half hours. The show was sponsored by Cornetto, the brand of love, to promote their ice creams that are usually described as harbingers of love. After the success of Luv Reel in the previous year, MTV came forward with another season. MTV is known for its youth centred content that caters to the needs of youth with all kinds of interests. In search of new talent, the show has arranged auditions for filmmakers, story writers, actors, singers, music composers, editors, and anyone required to make a movie.

The auditions took place in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and Bengaluru. They shot three short movies, each lasting for about an hour, in London and Mumbai. The three movies were aired on MTV during the aid time slot. The short films from the Cornetto Luv Reels – Take 2 series were also exclusively screened at select PVR Cinemas in Mumbai & Delhi and INOX theatre in Mumbai for the audience.
