Aditya Swamy

Aditya Swamy is the Director of Google Play and Google for Startups at Google. He did his schooling in Sishya, Chennai from 1978 to 1990. He holds a degree of Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) from Madras Christian College from 1992 to 1995. Then, he did his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research from 1996 to 1998. He started his career with The Coca-Cola Company as a Sales Manager. He was promoted to Brand Manager after a year and served the position for four years. Then, he was promoted to General Manager of Marketing in 2004 and worked in that position for two more years. During that time, he was honored with the launch of the company's online platform, 'My Enjoy Zone'.

He shifted to Viacom18 Media Private Limited in 2006 as Vice President of Marketing. After two years, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He worked for four years and was promoted to Executive Vice President and Business Head. Then, he joined MTV as the CEO of MTV Business. During his days there, he was passionate about expanding the channel's reach across TV, web, mobile and live spaces. In 2016, He shifted to Flipkart as a Senior Director. He worked there for a year and he mainly worked on Big Billion Days and then got an offer from Google for the position of Industry Head, Large Customer Sales. He accepted the offer and joined Google. After two years, He was promoted to Director of Marketing Partners and served in the position for two years. In September 2021, he was promoted to Director of Google Play and Google for Startups at Google.
