Dinesh P. Bhonsle is an Indian director, producer and screenplay writer from Maharashtra, India. He is associated mostly with the Marathi film industry. He has also directed Konkani films. Dinesh P. Bhonsle was born in a middle-class family in a village named Pomburpa in Goa, India; he is from Pomburpa, Goa, India and now lives in Mumbai, India. He was into documentary film editing before moving to writing and film direction. Dinesh P. Bhonsle is best known for directing movies, writing many documentaries, ad films, video albums and television series. He is in the Mumbai Film Industry for the last 15 years. Dinesh P. Bhonsle is married to Rupali Pirankar Bhonsle. He completed B.Sc. in Physics from St. Xavier's College, Mapusa, Goa, India, and for schooling, he went to St. Elizabeth High School, Pomburpa, Goa, India. In the early stage of his career, Dinesh P. Bhonsle has worked at Thy Way Creations, Halcyon Creations. When he took film directing as his profession, ‘Marmabandh' was his debut film as writer and director. This Marathi film director is well known for directing the movie, ‘Calapor' (released on the 2nd day of August 2013) which is a Hindi movie narrating a story of jail reformation. ‘Calapor' movie is a Bollywood thriller which features Raghubir Yadav, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta and Harsh Chhaya and more. Dinesh P. Bhonsle is best known for directing ‘Enemy' (it is 2015 film) which is a Konkani movie produced by A. Durga Prasad. The music of ‘Enemy' was given by Schubert Cotta. The movie named as ‘Enemy' features Meenacshi Martins, Salil Naik, Antonio Crasto, Rajiv Hede and more. Till date, this movie has received a lot of awards and got selected to be featured in various Film Festivals. The 2015 Konkani movie ‘Enemy' has won the 63rd National Award for becoming the Best Konkani Film. It has also been awarded the "Golden Camera Trophy Award" (this award is referred as Dadasaheb Phalke Janmbhumi Puraskar also) at the 8th Nashik International Film Festival. The movie got selected for screening at various Film Festivals, such as the 21st Kolkata International Film Festival 2015, the Goa Marathi Film Festival 2016, the London Indian Film Festival 2016, etc. At present Dinesh P.
