Most of the stories had connections to mythology, religious beliefs, cultural practices and even the spirit world, paranormal and astrology.
Each episode in the first season had two segments, where two different stories were shown about myths and legends. The episodes in the second season only showcased singular topics. Many episodes had a dramatic representation, while interviews and video footage were also included at times. The unique content of the show and the various mysteries and legends unraveled made the show very popular, and the popularity didn’t dip even though it was the second season.
This show was unique and presented in an innovative manner in India and merged reality with myths and beliefs. Though it didn’t propagate the beliefs, it simply aimed at decoding the scientific and spiritual realities behind such myths. One of the best episodes of ‘Mano Ya Na Mano 2’ was where they spoke about the mysterious “Bhangarh Fort”, which is said to be haunted and cursed. Other intriguing episodes were about a Patna girl who cried tears of blood and ones about a West Bengal village where trains never stopped and past life regression. The viewers accepted the show and thus made it successful, and it remains one of the most remembered Star One shows.
