as supporting casts. The main family of the serial was Zamindaars who are known as money lenders with Shastris, of 60 years ago. Tha Zamindaar Raghunath Shastri have one daughter and rest of the three is sons.
The theme of the story reveals the actual character of the Zamindaars who will do anything for their money and also get cheated by the same money sometimes. The Zamindaar's daughter gets married to a rogue and he is interested only in the property of her but not on her. He takes care of all the properties of his father-in- law, but will not happy with his disabled wife.
The servant Sopan decides to take revenge against the Zamindaar family as he was caught up by them to be slave for his father’s loan taken from them. For doing so, Devdaasi –Indumati helps him. Finally, Sopan is challenged by Indumati because of his disbelief to return again.
