The show starts showing the story of Mohana, the 200-year-old Daayan who keeps herself young by killing others. Mohana lured Mridul, the Rathod family member, and, married him. Their marriage brought Ansh, and, Kajal, their two kids. Afterward, Mohana’s real face was revealed by Divya, and, she was burnt.

Later, Vedashree adopted Kajal, and, Ansh. Later, Vedashree was worried about Ansh, as she was the son of Daayan’s son. The priest told the remedy to this was a girl, who had a Durga’s birthmark. Piya, a girl was Ansh’s remedy, and, they both were quite compatible. Meanwhile, Mohana had sent her another Daayan friend Ruby to marry Ansh, and, help Mohana come back to the world.

As the story continues, the serial leaps of 18 years. Ansh and Kajal grew up in Mumbai and live with their cousins Neha and Rishi. Ansh is still unaware of his true identity and his origins from Daavansh. Soon, he discovers his supernatural powers since he is a hybrid half human and half dayan). Meanwhile, Piya enters in the story. She comes to Mumbai in search of her long-lost parents. Ansh helps her in finding her family. Soon, Piya returns by using divine power and blessing. Piya and Ansh get married and consummate their marriage. After getting to know about Piya’s pregnancy, Mohana plots various plans to harm the unborn child. Ansh and Piya decide to separate their ways for the security of their child. Later, Piya gives birth to a beautiful baby, and Mohana still attempts multiple times to kill the baby. The serial leaps. Now Piya and Ansh are living separately, each with one child. Aditya and Pari are unaware of the fact that they are siblings. They meet in school and eventually get to know the truth. They plan to reunite with their parents and start living under one roof. After this, the family learns about Pari’s supernatural abilities and the darkness within her. Mohana seeks her revenge and creates another human figure, Urvashi. The life of the Rathod family was further complicated with the arrival of Urvashi. She kidnaps Pari, which forces Piya to return to the Rathod family. Between all these challenges, the family realizes Mohana’s devious plan.

Soon, Ansh and Piya reunite and fight together to protect their family from the evilness. Mohana continues to create a devious plan to gain more powers and destroy the Rathod family. The show introduces a new character, Ayush. Ayush is the long-lost brother of Piya, who helps her heal Ansh. But, later, Ayush gets trapped in the plan of Mohana and unleashes his dark power. But, soon, he gets back into sense and sends Mohana to the moon. Mohana returns from the moon but gets mad in the process. Mohana strikes back against the Rathod family. Mohana becomes the head of the witch clan. Ansh and Piya return to life and kill Mohana. After the death of Mohana, the Rathod family lives happily ever after.
