in the lead roles. Shivendraa Saainiyol played the role of Harveer Singh Chaudhury (Phoolmati’s husband, Santok and Harphoul’s father and Balwant’s brother). The series had 119 episodes in total. The story revolves around two characters who are completely different from each other. Mohini is from Kerala and lives with her parents and three sisters: Malli, Velli, and Savitri.
Meanwhile, Harphoul lives in Haryana with his mother, disabled brother and, sister-in-law. Vijayan the father of Mohini, lost his job, and if he doesn’t pay the money, he will lose his home. No boy in Kerala would marry Mohini and her sisters without a dowry. But she assures her father that she will match without dowry and save their house. Meanwhile, Harphoul needs to save his ancestral land from his uncle. The panchayat decides that if Harphoul doesn’t get married in the next month the land will be given to the panchayat. Saroj, Mai’s niece, arranges the marriage of Mohini and Harphoul. They both don’t like each other but still get married for the sake of their families.
