. The Barbapapa characters were created as a book series and were made as a TV program. These characters are loving, shape-changing blobs. Barbapapa and Barbamama are the parents of seven children where each has a distinct persona. The show was adopted from French and got dubbed in Hindi to cater to the Indian audience. These shows being kid-based, its characters taught the kids educational stuff though funny activities that were performed by the characters.
