Hum Awards is a Pakistani award show premiered on 29th April 2017 on Hum TV. In 2017, the award show premiered its 5th edition as it completed five years. The award show has 25 categories through which awards are presented to the recipients. Hum Awards 2017 had seven categories of viewer's choice awards, for which public voting began from 8th April 2017 to 18th April 2017. The show begins with a red carpet entry of the invited guests that interact with the pre-show hosts, Yasir Hussain and Ahmad Ali Butt.
Hum Awards 2017 was hosted by Hareem Farooq, Mikaal Zulfiqar, and Nadia Khan. Sang-e-Mar Mar won the most awards and was nominated in several categories for the Hum Awards 2017. Best On-screen couple, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Drama Serial, and Best Soap are among the categories in which awards are presented. Hum Awards 2017 is a 2 hours 30 minutes event.
