Imran Ashraf is a writer and actor in the Pakistani television industry. Imran Ashraf was born in Peshawar on September 11, 1989. In Abbottabad, he received his early education. His father was a banker, and his ancestors came from Sialkot. Imran is from a non-artistic, basic household; no one in his family works in show business. He married Kiran Imran in 2019 and has a son named Roham Ashraf. He made his acting debut in the drama serial "Wafa Kaisi Kahan Ka Ishq" in 2011. He participated in various productions as a supporting character but failed to capture the audience's attention. In several dramas, he performed minor roles.

Then in 2016, he received critical appreciation for his roles in Dil Lagi, Gul-e-Rana, and Jhoot. He was also named Best Supporting Actor by the Viewers. In addition, he achieved fame and critical praise in 2017 for his role as a transgender person in "Alif Allah Aur Insaan" and also got an award at the 6th Hum Awards. He grew to prominence and reached the pinnacle of his career after portraying the mentally challenged 'Bhola' in "Ranjha Ranjha Kardi" (2018), and became a household name as a result. He received Best Actor - Popular at the Lux Style Awards in December 2020. Through his acting services over the past few years, Imran has grown up to be an exceptionally talented actor. He had been nominated for the Best Writer award at the 7th Hum Awards in 2018 for his drama series "Tabeer."
