The play starts with Ravi Khatpatia. He is a middle-aged man. He is married to Sapna. Ravi is head over heels for his wife. But his wife is quite suspicious of him. She is an overthinker who assumes that her husband hides things from her. She micro-analyses his behavior and thinks he is cheating on her. Unfortunately, he always lands himself in trouble accidentally. It is their anniversary but Ravi does not remember it. Sapna starts suspecting him more but becomes happy when he says he has a surprise planned for her. Meanwhile, his assistant from the office comes to his home and informs him that his partner, Doshi, has withdrawn money from the company again without returning the previous amount. Ravi is furious and talks about removing him as his partner without a settlement. He also asks his colleague to inform his secretary, Monalisa. Sapna hears this and assumes Ravi is planning to divorce her and marry  Monalisa.

Sapna plans to catch them red-handed. She and her friend, Leela, plan to write a love letter to Ravi, without mentioning any name. They mentioned a place where they could meet that night. If Ravi indeed has a lover or if he doesn't love Sapna anymore he will go to the place. Ravi’s servant is in love with Ravi’s sister, Bipasha. Bipasha does not give it much importance. He asks her hand for marriage, but she refuses. Unfortunately, the servant finds the love letter and believes Bipasha has written it for him. He goes to the hotel to meet Bipasha. Later Ravi finds the letter and does not think of anything.

Leela’s husband comes to meet Ravi at his house for some office work. They talk about how Leela and Sapna went together to the same place. But Ravi tells him that Sapna informed him about going somewhere else. Ravi also shows him the love letter. Leela’s husband realizes that it is Leela’s handwriting and suspects an affair between them. Leela and Sapna are already in the hotel waiting for Ravi. Ravi and Leela’s husband reach the hostel to catch Leela with her lover red-handed. The confusion and wordplay in the drama cause comedy of errors.
