RobindronathEkhaneKawkhonoKheteAasheni (REKKA) is a 2021, 9-episode web series. It is directed by Srijit Mukherjee. The series is based on the 2015 novel by Bangladeshi writer Mohammad Nazim Uddin. MushkanZuberi (AzmeriHaqueBadhon) is the owner of a restaurant by the name of REKKA. NirupamChanda ( Rahul Bose Rahul Bose, who is an actor, director, writer and >> Read More... ) is a journalist who is intrigued by Mushkan’s eatery and comes to her restaurant to interview her and write an article on REKKA. But as the story progresses, it turns out that Nirupam is not a journalist but a CBI officer who was in town to get information on a high-profile missing person case.

The only lead to the case was the REKKA restaurant. As the story continues, Mushkan turns out to be a desolate plane crash survivor. During the crash, having no food to eat, the survivors started consuming the flesh and organs of the dead passengers to survive. As it turns out, all the missing people who Nirupam was in search of had died in her hands as she practised cannibalism despite not being in that same dire situation. She had maintained her youth by consuming human organs. In the end, Mushkan escapes Nirupam. AzmeriHaqueBadhon is brilliant as MushkanZuberi. The Srijit Mukherjee directorial series is worth the watch, but predictable elements are present in abundance. It is a good watch.
